The journey to LA was quite a long one. 16hrs with an hour at osaka for fuel. A sardar sat beside me, and engaged me with petty conversation before I decided to doze off. Was later woken up by a chinki air hostess for an awful meal. Some boiled vegetables with fat extracts in a cup, to eat with the bun. yuk! And they called this asian vegetarian food, specially ordered. These firangs don't seem to have any taste buds left. God knows how they relish such bland food. Anyway, I had to prepare myself for such a welcome, if i have to survive in the US.
Touched US shore at 11am. Sitting in the plane, the view looked like a printed circuit board (an engineer can, after all, relate natural beauty to what is tangible to him!). Nevertheless, it was very picturesque with the beach on one side and rough mountainous terrain following it. And in between, was the civilization.
From LA i left for Sandiego in my friend's car. San diego is an amazing place too. much like bangalore, maybe a touch cooler. but the similarity ends there. The city is exuding with wealth. Audi, ferraris, porshe...hmmm.

That was a great top view! I wonder how people can just take shots of such beautiful views. Except using such excellent cameras, what else or how else can we take such shots?
